Bennett Goldberg and Sarah Hokanson, PIs of the Inclusive STEM Teaching Project (ISTP), will be at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign on January 15 to lead a 6-hour workshop for members of the UIUC community to be inclusive teaching-learning community facilitators.

The ISTP facilitator training is designed for faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff who wish to lead an inclusive teaching-learning community using the ISTP course content. ISTP Learning communities provide an opportunity to dig deeper into course content, adapt the activities to your local context, and develop cohorts of participants to carry inclusive teaching forward.

They have trained 513 facilitators at 164 institutions that have run 132 learning communities with 1004 participants to date. Although the course was designed with STEM instruction in mind, we encourage educators from all areas to participate in the training.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
